Paying through the nose for failure. A complete waste of money! I had to pay £162 (incl. VAT) to a plumber who did not complete the job and demonstrated no progress in clearing a sewer-line blockage, as the uploaded job details show. In acknowledgement of the failure, please note that the bill was reduced. But the discount was miserly in view of the grandiose (normal) price of around £200. That princely sum would never receive the Royal Commission that this firms lofty prices aspire to, since the jetter was under-powered (compared with Welsh-Waters), and the rod-work was like a blind man with a stick. These are money-grubbers who, when they can see at the outset that the blockage must lie outside your property and is Welsh Waters concern, still carry out the work that is patently beyond their capacity and remit, in order to take as much money from you as they can.
